5. 比賽方式： 採用隊際單循環形式進行，每隊三人出賽，每輪比賽一局。以抽簽方式編排棋會編號，然後按賽會編排對賽排序進行比賽，如有同隊（所屬城市／社團計），則安排在首輪互對，領隊在每輪比賽前填寫棋手出場序。
Competition method : The single robin method is adopted. 3 players will play one game in each round. Team number for each team will be drawn by the Chairman. Sequence of games is fixed as per a pre-designated table. The leaders have to fix the player numbers for his team before each round started.

6 計分辦法： 每輪勝方獲2局分，和棋各得1局分，負方得0局分。綜合5輪比賽後以每隊取得局分數計排名，其後計名次的優先次序為小分，同分隊伍對賽成績，對手分，總獲勝盤數，執後獲勝盤數，後手局數，抽簽。
Scoring : 2 points are awarded for a win. 1 point is awarded for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. After 5 rounds, the rank will be decided according to the following priorities – match points, game points, results against the opponent(s), opponents score, total wins, black wins, number of black games, draw.

7. 比賽規則： 採用亞洲棋例，但每輪時間35分鐘包乾，不設加時。棋手不用抄棋，不設50著不吃子自動和棋，但棋手可在己方剩餘3分鐘前提和，裁判按要求有權按盤面情況判和。每輪開賽時每隊必須有最少2名棋手出賽，否則作淨負處理。遲到超過20分鐘作棄權論。
Rules : To be regulated by Asian Xiangqi Rules.
Time control is 35 minutes each side, 35min + 0. Players are not obligated to record moves. The rule that “the game ends in draw if 50 moves are made without capturing of any piece from both sides” will not be applied. A player can request a draw at least 3 minutes before his/her time’s up. Upon such request, the referee can grant a draw based on the game trend itself. At the beginning of a round, a team must have at least 2 players sitting the tournament. Otherwise the result will be counted as 6:0. Late over 20 minutes is regarded as surrender.

8. 報名方式： 每隊設領隊一人，棋手三至四人，每輪每隊出三人。每隊均需填寫報名表格在2008年12月21日或之前交給賽會。
Enrolment : Each team consists of three to four players & one Leader. 3 players will play in each round. Each team must submit a registration form on or before Dec 21, 2008.

9. 獎 項： 設冠、亞、季軍三個獎項。
Prizes : Prize for first, second, and third place.

10 仲 裁： 如有爭議，由裁判長會同四位非涉及待裁個案的領隊(各領隊兼任裁判團)作裁決，此亦為最終裁決。
Referee : The Chief Referee together with any four of the Leaders not related to the case will serve as referee team. Their decision will be final.
